The main objective of production planning is to develop a production program which covers production planning ,operation of equipment associated with the disposal of production, the use of materials, labor, expenses and profit - interaction between the manufacturing facilities - "Capacity of the company." Main tasks of production planning are:
- Verification and confirmation of the feasibility of forecast demand and created on its base plan sales.

- Production in stock - Discrete Manufacturing - manufacturing process is oriented according to the size of the lot, the production is based on predefined recipes Planning of materials is based on preliminary production plan, divided by the capacity of the company.
- Custom manufacturing / Make-to-Order / - production according to customer demand, which incorporates specific requirements for the product we produce.
